Quote Snap Privacy Policy

What we collect

When a shopper submits a quote request through the Quote Snap widget on a store's product or collection page, we store:

• Name, email address, and (optionally) phone number
• The note the shopper wrote and their proposed price
• The product being quoted (title, handle, and variant)
• Cost and margin figures the merchant configured, used to show them the profit impact of the quote

We do not collect payment details, and we only store data for stores that have Quote Snap installed.

How we use it

Quote request data is shown only to the merchant who installed Quote Snap on their store, inside their Shopify admin, so they can review and respond to the request. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Quote request data is kept for as long as the app is installed on a store. We respond to Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks:

• Customer data request — we look up and make available any quote requests tied to that customer's email.
• Customer redact — we permanently delete quote requests tied to that customer's email.
• Shop redact — sent after a merchant uninstalls the app; we permanently delete all quote request data for that store.
